This woman was gang raped on her way to work at 5.30 am in the Bariga area of Lagos. The incident occurred in January and has only just come to light. Not only did she have to suffer the humiliation of being raped, she found out after her rape that she had contracted the HIV virus from her rapists.
In the video interview the woman’s face is blurred, to protect her identity. She reveals that she knows who her rapists are and she also knows where they live. She also reveals that the rapists stole her mobile phones and N5000.
