The University of Ilorin, Kwara State held it's matriculation during the weekend.
8,587 students were matriculated out of the 103,211 candidates who applied for admission into the university for the 2013/2014 academic session.
Vice Chancellor of the university Professor Abdulganiyu Ambali said out of the applicants, 16, 123 passed the post UTME, while 8,587 were admitted and matriculated in line with the institution’s carrying capacity.
He urged the students be disciplined and religiously comply with the institution’s rules and regulations. He noted that the university has zero tolerance for indiscipline.
