Last month Nigerian/American rapper got in touch with his Nigerian roots, when he visited the country of his parents birth for the first time. Upon his return to the States he got into some beef with Complex magazine who had left his album “The Gifted” off their 50 Best Albums of 2013 list, resulting in him getting so upset he called the magazine’s office and threatened bodily harm.
But clearly he has no such issue with fashion bible Harper’s Bazaar as the rapper is featured in this month’s issue sandwiched between supermodel Bar Rafaeli (who used to date Leonardo Di Caprio) and designer Diane von Furstenberg who is being honoured for creating the signature wrap dress over four decades ago.
Wale is rocking clothes from his label WRKNG Title, while Bar & Diane are rocking DVF wrap dresses.
